The Disability Federation of Ireland (DFI) is the national support organisation and advocate for voluntary disability organisations in Ireland who provide services to people with disabilities and disabling conditions.

The Website

Originally a small site, the website has grown over the past two years and has recently been resesigned with web 2.0 concepts in mind. The website contains a wealth of information relevant to disability organisations which is highlighted on the front page to encourage users to interact with the site.

The site is AAA accessible, has a search facility, large text and high contrast styles. in interactive google map, an events calendar facility, a tag cloud search, a password protected members only area and moveable and resizable widgits. TYhe site also features multiple incoming and outgoing disability related RSS feeds
